UCAS Progress Code Exclusions

Use this reference data to define the progress codes that are excluded from automatic UCAS updates. For example, if you wish to apply interim progress changes to track progression through an interview process to avoid the regular UCAS sync process resetting the progress code.

For each UCAS progress code exclusion you can add and edit the following information:

  • UCAS Code should be set to IGNORE<number>, such as IGNORE1, IGNORE2, IGNORE3, and so on.

  • UCAS Description should describe why the progress code is being excluded from UCAS automatic updates.

  • ebs Code defines the progress code to be excluded from UCAS automatic updates, such as LEARNERAPPS.

  • Is Active defines whether the progress code is excluded from automatic UCAS updates.

This reference data is only applicable if the UCAS HE Institution Setting, UCAS HE Allow UCAS to update existing applications is set to Y.
